The Lebanon VAMC Behavioral Health Building is a 21,000 square ft. new outpatient facility. This new facility will provide veterans with individual therapy in private consult spaces. Additional program elements include a five station vocational rehab training kitchen and a computer lab with laptops for patients to check-out for home use. At the main entrance to the building is a commons area with a café, fireplace, and seating area. The second floor of the facility houses care providers in an open office environment specifically designed for the staff to promote shared dialogue in a private setting. The 2-story structure has composite structural steel floors, bar joists for the roof framing, and timber trusses for the commons area. There is also a partial basement. The construction cost is approximately $6.5 million.
